Update contact information on Hubspot

Purpose: to have all the contact’s information accurate and prevent losing contacts during the transition

In order to update your client’s information, the first thing after being logged in to HubSpot is to click on contacts and then contacts again:


Then select “Contact Owner” and Select “Me” (This way it will just display the contacts already assigned to you):

Hover over the contact name and select “Preview” this will display the right sidebar that will allow you to edit the contact information:

Most of the information should be already populated, the information that has to be fulfilled is:

  • Website URL
  • Phone number (If they don’t have it)
  • Time Zone
  • Street Address (Office location)
  • Country USA
  • Postal Code

Important Note: Some contacts might be missing to be assigned to the proper contact owner (account manager) please review your asana clients to make sure all your clients are assigned to you.
