Why are Applicants calling my number if I’ve removed Forwarding?

To set up phone number forwarding in our system and configure incoming call settings, follow these steps to ensure calls are properly routed and avoid using personal phone numbers.

Configuring Incoming Call Settings

  1. Log In: Access your account and navigate to the phone settings.
  2. Set Up Forwarding Number:
    • Enter Forwarding Number: Add the number where incoming calls should be forwarded.
    • Save Settings: Click “Save” or “Update” to apply the changes.

Setting Up Voicemail

  1. Voicemail Configuration:
    • Upload Voicemail: If no forwarding number is set, upload an MP3 file for a personalized voicemail message.
    • Default Voicemail: Ensure the default voicemail settings are configured correctly.

Avoiding Personal Phone Numbers

  1. Use Business Numbers: Ensure that only business phone numbers are used for forwarding to maintain professionalism.
