Indeed: Your Job Post is not visible to people on Indeed Yet – Verification Process

From time to time, Indeed tends to run some “Mandatory” manual verification in order to verify the account is being handled correctly (By the right people) this potentially can be due to the account is being handled from a different location where was originally set (our RDS IP is from Ohio) and they blocked the visibility of the Jobs with a banner stating the following:

“Your Job Post is not visible to people on Indeed yet.”
To make your Job visible, contact the account verification team at 1-800-643-2707 (Mon to Sun 8 am to 11 pm ET) to confirm your employer account information”

Even though the message might seem alarming, Indeed just wants to gather some more information about who is handling the account. Please do not call Indeed’s regular CS number, call the number displayed on the red banner “1-800-643-2707” they first will ask about the regular verification process (Name on the account, email, and perhaps the Billing Zip code)” then the questions they will ask (they may vary) are the following:

-What is your relationship with the company? Answer: Hiring Manager
-Confirm your company’s industry and/or Line of business? Answer: Lawncare/Landscape/House Cleaning, etc (Depending on your company)
-What is the location of the business on the Job location? Answer: Share the address we have on the Billing Information + The locations where we are advertising, for example: “Yes, the location of our business is XX AND we’re advertising in X and X areas”
-What’s the Company Website/Social Media? Answer: You can share the Facebook URL (spoken) or The URL of the business on Google, for example, https://www.haddonlandscaping.com/ – https://www.facebook.com/kylewrightslawncare/

After the process is completed, they will let you know they will take from 1-2 hours to complete the verification according to the answers provided in the call, they will say they may send you a verification email re-confirming the call answers’ (This may not happen if you passed the verification)

Golden Rules:
-Do not mention WootRecruit during the call, say you work directly for your client
-Have ALL of the answers prepared before you make the call (So they won’t take you off guard, if they do, they may believe we’re not the owners of the account and can end with a permanent ban)
-Call the number on the Red Banner, not the one for Indeed CS
