Subscription Update Process (Reflect Stripe status in Hubspot)

To update a subscription status in HubSpot to reflect the correct information from Stripe, follow these steps:

  • Check Current Subscription Status:
    • Log in to HubSpot.
    • Navigate to the customer’s subscription record.
    • Verify the current subscription status (e.g., “Past Due”).
  • Confirm Payment Status in Stripe:
    • Log in to your Stripe account.
    • Find the corresponding customer’s record.
    • Confirm that the payment has been processed and is up-to-date.
  • Update Subscription Status in HubSpot:
    • Return to HubSpot.
    • In the subscription record, update the status to “active”.
    • Ensure the status reflects the correct, processed state.
  • Save Changes:
    • Click “Save” to update the status.
    • Verify that the status change has been applied to the customer’s account.
