Email links are getting an error (This site can’t provide a secure connection)

If you’re experiencing issues with custom values in emails not working and receiving errors like “link does not exist” or a typo, the problem likely lies with an unverified CNAME record. Follow these steps to resolve the issue quickly:

Domain Verification

  1. Check your DNS settings: Make sure your domain’s CNAME record is properly set up.
  2. Verify the CNAME record: Ensure that the CNAME is verified within your DNS server.
  3. Remove and re-add the record: If you’ve already updated this record and it still isn’t working, delete the CNAME entry and then re-add it to refresh the verification.
  4. Confirm verification: Wait for the CNAME to be fully verified before testing again.

Testing the Solution

  1. Send a test email: Once the CNAME is verified, send another test email.
  2. Check link functionality: Click on the link in the email to see if it works properly.
