Validating Phone Numbers to Decrease Sending Errors

To ensure your account stays in good standing for A2P registration, enable phone verification on your subaccount by following these steps:

  • Access Subaccount Settings
    • Go to the bottom left corner of the screen and click on Settings.
    • Click on the Business Profile of the specific subaccount.
  • Enable Phone Verification
    • Scroll down to the General section.
    • Find the option Validate phone numbers when first SMS is sent to a new contact.
    • Select this option to enable automatic phone number validation.
    • No need to click a submit button; the changes will update automatically.

This process ensures you avoid issues with invalid phone numbers, preventing increased error rates that could negatively impact your account.
