The “Playbook” Rules:
When needing to do or solve something, before asking in Slack:
- Search the Knowledge base (https://wootrecruit.com/am/) for a playbook using keywords
- If it doesn’t pop up on the first try, ask openly in Slack: “Is there a playbook for ___?”
- If the answer is “No”:
- See if someone can help with the answer to your question.
- Volunteer that person to create a new Playbook to share their knowledge.
- Create a Playbook on WordPress for leadership approval.

- If the answer is “Yes”:

If you have recently overcome an obstacle or have confidence in a task, add it to your Playbooks and start documenting.
Remember these key rules when creating a Playbook:
- Document the process without overthinking with the idea of perfecting it the first time.
- Expect it to be incomplete
- Ready, Shoot, then Aim: Get 80% of the concept down in 20% of the time. You will come back later to perfect it!
- Return to it once you have the time and ability to elaborate.
- Be sure to use plenty of Photos and Videos to support the documentation
Empower others by sharing your knowledge through Playbooks and free up time for new and creative ideas!
