Setup Multiple Location Applicant Tracking
To track applicants based on multiple locations, follow these steps to set up and manage location tags effectively. This ensures applicants are correctly categorized and managed according to their respective locations.
Setting Up Location Tags for Applicants
- Enable Location Tag Add-On:
- Ensure the “Application Add-On: Add Location Tag” is enabled by default. If not, turn it on in the workflows section.
- Update Branches for Locations:
- Navigate to the Workflows section.
- Click on the workflow that manages applicant tracking.
- Find the branch that contains candidate locations and update it accordingly.
- Example: If the company has locations in the Triad and Charlotte, update the branches to reflect these.
- For the Triad location: Add “Triad” as a specific condition.
- For the Charlotte location: Add “Charlotte” as a specific condition.
- Example: If the company has locations in the Triad and Charlotte, update the branches to reflect these.
- Save and update the actions to ensure changes are applied.
- Assign Location Tags:
- In the workflow, add location tags to differentiate applicants.
- Example: For Charlotte, add a tag “Charlotte.”
- For the Triad, add a tag “Triad.”
- Ensure tags are spelled correctly and saved.

- Update Survey Fields:
- Go to the Surveys section and open the builder for the application page.
- Add a custom field for “Candidate Location.”
- Drag and drop the field into the application form.
- Set the field as hidden and assign the relevant value (e.g., “Charlotte” or “Triad”).

- Test the application form to ensure that it correctly captures the location and triggers the appropriate workflow.
- Verify that applicants are correctly tagged and categorized based on their location.
