Failed A2P Brand Registration for Canadian Companies

If you’re encountering issues with A2P registration for a Canadian company, specifically “Invalid Business Registration Identifier,” follow these steps to resolve it:

  • Access Business Profile
    • Navigate to the Settings option in the relevant sub-account.
    • Scroll to the Business Information section.
  • Update Business Registration ID
    • Locate the Business Registration ID Type field.
    • Change the outdated CBN option to the current valid option from the dropdown.
    • Enter the Business Registration Number accordingly.
  • Save and Resubmit
    • Click Update Information to save changes.
    • Go to the Trust Center tab under the phone numbers section.
    • Click the Resubmit button within the brand dialogue box.
  • Verify and Complete Submission
    • Ensure all information is updated correctly.
    • Follow the prompts to acknowledge any fees.
    • Submit the registration as per the usual process.
  • Monitor Submission
    • The brand submission should update automatically (or within minutes).
    • Refresh the page to check the status if necessary.
